Megan Beller

Eastman School of Music alumna Megan Beller is a violinist and traditional American and Klezmer fiddler in Baltimore, MD. Megan teaches Suzuki and classical violin lessons and fiddle lessons in a variety of styles.

Megan plays American, Irish, and French Canadian fiddle tunes with her contra dance band Contranella. She also plays traditional Jewish fiddle with The Coalhouse Klezmer Band and occassionally plays medieval music on vielle with Istanpitta. Past performances include the dance stages at NEFFA and at the Turtle Hill Folk Festival, the Syracuse Jewish Music and Cultural Festival, the Rochester Thanksgiving Dance weekend and the Phylla Mae festival, as well as weddings, contra dances, square dances, and barn dances all over the north eastern United States and Canada.
