Update
although in my thoughts
I haven't notified you
but now it's time
Charley went and did it
well... Charley came a year after you died
at 21 he's a senior at
university of rochester
he met Megan as a freshman
at the contra-dance his mother and I
started 26 years ago
she plays fiddle and violin
they have been together three years
one morning in january
Charley stopped by
and as he was leaving
he said by the way
we were married today
so casual
the baby was born tuesday, february 21
I went to highland hospital wednesday
and Charley put Baby Boy Beller
in my arms
I recognized him immediately
which also happened with my other children
a week later we had a bris
and I learned his name
Naftali Theodore Wobus Beller
a mouthful
I'm finally a grandfather
you were zayde but I will be saba
now you are great grandfather
by way of your youngest grandchild
your namesake.
