Charley Beller
Charley graduated from the University of Rochester receiving a B.A. in Linguistics with Honors. He grew up in Rochester attending the city school #12, Monroe Middle School, and the School of the Arts.
His father, Kelly, worked as a psychologist for the Rochester Psychiatric Center; he also writes poetry. His mother, Ceidlen, works as a researcher in the development department at the University of Rochester; she also crochets and sells kippot. In 2006 she received a Chuck Cuminale Award for donating between 60 and 70 hand crocheted afghans to The Center for Youth over the preceding five years.
Charley has three older siblings. Jesse works in film and commercial production at R/GA in NYC. The other two siblings live in the San Francisco Bay area. Elise and her husband Miik are also involved in film. Michael is a reference librarian at Mills College in Oakland.
Charley is married to Megan Beller and is the father of Naftali Beller.
